Went to his Lord peacefully surrounded by family, September 26, 2012 at Allegiance Hospice Home. Bob was a WWII Veteran, Pilot, and Engineer, owned & operated a number of businesses. Bob was born in Jackson, MI, July 17, 1921 to Augusta VanWagner & Alva Putnam. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jeanette Seigart, son Robert Jr., stepdaughter Jackie Robison and wife of his children Rose. He is survived by his children, Philip (Donna) Putnam, Nancy (Gerald) Baldwin. Grandchildren, Doug (Kristi) Putnam, Nick Putnam, Colleen (Robert) Spargur & Great-Grandchildren, Hayden Duke Spargur, (future) Layla Elizabeth Putnam. Wife of 34 years, Marcella Putnam & her children, Paul (Sue) Humphrey II, Tim (Brenda) Humphrey, many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make a Memorial contribution in Bob’s name to Allegiance Hospice Home, 2150 Kringbrooke Dr. Jackson, MI 49202.
