Of Concord, Michigan passed away at his home in Litchfield on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 52. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and Dean Adair; three children, Heather, Eric and Andrea Pettit; six grandchildren, Anthony, Bently, Corey, Elijah, Annalise, Lilha and Joey; brother, Charles “Bud” Pettit III; sister, Amy (Bruce) Bridges as well as nieces, nephews and many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Pettit II. Roy was born in Jackson on June 12, 1968 and is a graduate of Napoleon High School. He began working at Keeler’s Automotive at the age of 16 and spent his career as an automotive mechanic. Roy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and cooking for others on the grill. He was always willing to help others when he was able to. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to his wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be a service to honor his life at a later date.
