Of Jerome MI, passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 71. She was born on January 14, 1950 to parents Walter and Sophia (Ziemichek) Koss in Detroit, MI. She married Robert J. Kvicala at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church on September 2, 1972. Sandra was a homemaker and a care giver. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies’ Aid and a participant in Thome Pace. She enjoyed family get togethers, quilt making and crocheting. Sandra is survived by her husband of 48 years Robert J. Kvicala; children Nina Berthlett, Tina Hamze, and Robert J. Kvicala Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Rosemarie Duplessis and Linda Parkhurst; best friend Lynn Fecteau; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Sophia Koss and sister Elaine Posney. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (122 W. Wesley Street Jackson MI,) with Rev. Kurt E. Lambart officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Cadillac West Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
