Sharon Jean Vreeland

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the age of 86 while under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vreeland in 2012 and great granddaughter Ava Rose. She will be remembered by her son, Mark (Carol) Rose; grandchildren, Whitney (Brian Mick) Rose and Maegan (Ryan Crum) Rose-Pickel, Trenton (Rachel Langley) Booth, Amber (Dan) Faett, Cameron (Bailey) Booth, great grandchildren Ryker, Rory, Ashton, Emersyn, Logan, Tatum, Hollis and Isla. Her siblings, Janice (Dave) DeFalco, Gary (Jan) Gloar and Cherry (Mike) Mosher; brother-in-law, Leroy Vreeland and many nieces, nephews loving family members and friends, Sharon was born in Jackson on April 12, 1937 to Harold and Helen Saines. After graduating from Jackson High School, she started her career at GOODYEAR TIRE AND RUBBER COMPANY. After retiring from Goodyear, she began her second career at Airmetal Corporation. She married Robert Vreeland on April 22, 1960 and together they raised their family. She enjoyed reading, stained glass, crossword puzzles and traveling with family and friends. According to her wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be a celebration of her life held at Gene Davis Catering (3575 Francis Street Jackson, 49203) on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. Private Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home would be greatly appreciated.
