

Of Jackson passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Hill) Norman; sons. Shawn David (Krista) Norman, Sherman Worth (Tonya) Norman III; daughters, Nannette Marie Norman, Terri Lynn (Gary) VanOrder; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Kyra, Dalton, Michael, Kassandra, Isabelle, Aiden Nadyia, Mackenzie and Ariana; three great grandchildren, all of Jackson; brother, Danny (Bobbi) Norman, Richard (Sue) Norman; sister, Tina Marie (Dave) Wriston he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Natalie Norman. Duffy was born to Sherman and Edna (Reynolds) Norman in Jackson. After graduating high school and attending college he served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. In 1976 he married Connie and raised a family. He was employed at Bechtel Engineering and retired from G. Robert Cotton facility after 18 years of service. Duffy was a proud family man and enjoyed an active life, hunting, fishing, watching sports, bowling, camping and playing the Lotto. A service honoring his life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Merritt officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors. The family would like to thank Allegiance Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allegiance Hospice Home.
