Of Jackson, passed away February 3, 2016 age 71. Survived by her husband, Robert; three sons, Ted (Jada), Wes (Amy), and Chuck; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Walter Keyes; three sisters, Linda Keller, Jan Taylor, and Betty Sue Gallaway; and her best friend, Margaret Grose. Preceded in death by one daughter, Bobbi Bowen; her parents, Wes and Shirley Keyes; three sisters, Mary Jo Sizemore, Sharon Keyes, and Pat Smith. Shirley worked for the United Way of Jackson and the Democratic Party; she organized many fund raisers for the United Way of Jackson and other organizations. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends Saturday 1:00 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the United Way of Jackson.
