Solomon Hannah

Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith (Potts) Hannah; his second wife, Linda (Pulley) Hannah; daughter, Ivy (Hannah) Todd; siblings: Willie May Clay, Clyde Hannah, Roosevelt Hannah, George Lee Hannah, Lula Pearl Hannah, Susan May Lee, B.L. Hannah and Lemar Hannah. He is survived by his children; Solomon Hannah, Israel Hannah, Solomon Hannah Jr., Allyn Granger, Jeremiah Hannah and Keon Aguilar, siblings; McArthur Hannah, Hubert Hannah, Josephine Hannah and Nell Henry. Solomon was born on December 31, 1938 in Conway, Mississippi to James Hannah and Ada (Scott) Hannah. Solomon was a retired heavy equipment operator who enjoyed cooking, watching westerns and spending time with his family and friends. According to his wishes, cremation has been selected and a service honoring him will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Friday, June 5 at 2 p.m. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the Hospice Home and Allegiance Health for the compassionate care provided in his final days. Contributions in his memory can be directed to Hospice Home of Allegiance Health.
