Of Jackson, Michigan passed away at Jackson County Medical Care Facility on June 11, 2025, at the age of 61. Sue was born in Jackson, Michigan on September 19,1963 to parents Philip and Sandra Sobieski. Sue made a positive impact on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Special thanks to the staff at Jackson County Medical Care Facility where Sue resided for 12 years, your kindness will never be forgotten.
Sue is survived by her loving parents, Philip and Sandra Sobieski, devoted sister Karen (Jeff) Ellis, nephew Blake (Emily) Ellis, great nephew Michael Ellis, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents Edward and Winfred Stimer, Frances and Norman Jenness, Wilfred Sobieski, and special Aunt Gerry (Bob)DuBois.
Catholic Funeral Rites will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 East Michigan Ave), family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Sue will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery with a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cascades Humane Society (1515 Carmen Drive, Jackson, MI 49202).
