Of Jackson, passed away peacefully, at home, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Lincoln Losey as well as a daughter, Jacqueline Hartzog; two brothers and a sister. She will be remembered by her six children, Jo Ann (William) Swensson, Sandra (Charles) Bush, Debra (Kurt) Haueisen, Robert (Mary) Losey, Richard (Mary Davis) Losey and Lyne Losey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Wayne) Bliss and Nancy (Joel) Peterson; sisters-in-law, Connie Norton, Ethelda Weller, Rhea Matteson, Karen (Terry) Hicks and Luella Fry. Thelma was one of six children born to Noah and Corabell (Bush) Norton in St. Charles, Missouri on August, 28, 1927 and is a 1945 graduate of St. Charles High School. She married Lincoln on February 24, 1946 and moved to Jackson, Michigan, where they raised a family. She was a proud homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bowler and extremely competitive until the age of 85. She had a strong faith in the Lord and attended Ganson Street Baptist Church for many years. Blondie was a loyal U of M fan and touched the hearts and lives of many. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and again from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter at Lincoln-Pomeroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or to a Charity of one’s choice.
