Thomas "Tommy" Adrian Palmer II

Thomas "Tommy" Adrian Palmer II, age 51, of Jackson, Michigan (formally of Ann Arbor and Plymouth, Michigan) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, May 23, 2022, due to complications of a heart attack. Tommy was born June 26, 1970, to his parents Thomas Adrian Palmer, Sr. and Tienhorm Palmer Amyx. Tommy at an early age learned the skill of gemology taught by his father. He mastered how to intricately cut gemstones and from this bond, they became "The Palmer" company in Bangkok, Thailand. Tommy's skills became world renowned. He made lifelong friends and business partners globally. Tommy had a love for the arts from drawing greeting cards to tattoo designs and even cooking. His passion for food showed in every dish that he made from grilling to Thai food, and you never walked away hungry. Tommy was a loyal friend to everyone he knew to a fault he always put his friends needs before his own. The beloved father of Anthony Thomas Palmer of Waycross, GA, Jade Palmer of Southfield, MI, Emerald "Emmy" Palmer of Jackson, MI, Sapphire E. Palmer of Ypsilanti, MI, loving son of Tienhorm Palmer Amyx of Jackson, MI (formally of Ann Arbor and Plymouth, Michigan), cherished sibling of Betsy Palmer of Jackson, MI, Mona Palmer Janice of Ann Arbor, MI, prized uncle of Cameron Ortiz, Adrian Ortiz, Sydney Ortiz, Miasha Gordon-Palmer, Shawna Palmer-Deitzel, Andrea D. Reffitt, Ray’Anna A. Palmer and Mariah Palmer, special cousin Deanna Palmer of Jackson, MI who he loved as his sister and a special friend Chadamat Palmer of Khon Kaen, Thailand. He will be missed by all who knew him including all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his father the late Thomas Adrian Palmer, Sr.; stepfather, Charles E. Amyx; grandparents, Adrian and Marie Palmer; uncles, David R. Palmer and Jessie “Bucky” Slade; cousins, Jessica Slade, Justin Slade, Charles “Chucky” Palmer and brother-in-law Jeffery B. Janice. The thing that Tommy taught us all is that you can master anything that you put your mind to.
