Troy Lee Jordan Sr.

Troy Lee Jordan Sr. was born to Kinnie and Annie Jordan on December 14, 1948, in Columbus, Mississippi. Troy passed away at the age of 76 on December 7, 2025, in the early morning, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Troy was a humble spirit and very kind-hearted. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a minister of God, and a wonderful friend who was loved, adored, and appreciated by many. He enjoyed serving God and spreading the gospel. Troy was employed at Miller Industrial beginning in 1986 and continued to be a faithful, hard worker once it transitioned to Technique until he was no longer able to work in October 2025. Some of his favorite pastimes were watching sports, traveling with his wife and children, and studying the word. He also loved entertaining his grandchildren, whether it was with a song or a quick jig! Rollover Paw Paw!

Troy leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Wanda Jordan; nine daughters: Erica Hubbard, Jittuana Hines (Paul), Lisa Derr, Princess Jordan, Pocahontas Walter (Antonio), Valara Jackson, Alexandria Jordan, Colleen Jordan, Orian Jackson (Kadeem); four sons: Troy Jordan Jr. (April), Joshua Jordan (Facia), Elijah Jordan, and James Jordan; his twin and only sister, Hazel Temple, and one brother, Webster Jordan. He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many loving relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Jordan, father, Kinnie Jordan, and two brothers, Dennis Jordan and Charles Jordan.

A Family Hour will be held on December 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 11:00 am. Both services will take place at the Church of God, located at 140 W. South Street, Jackson, Michigan.

Troy will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
