Vali was a woman of extraordinary strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. She lived with quiet determination and a resilient spirit that carried her through life’s greatest joys and most difficult challenges. Her life was a testament to sacrifice, perseverance, and unconditional love.
She was the cherished wife of the late Ion Polizache, her partner, best friend, and steady companion through the years. Together they built a life grounded in faith, hard work, and devotion to one another. Their marriage was one of commitment and endurance, strengthened by every obstacle they overcame side by side. From their love came their greatest blessing, their son, Ion (Marius) Polizache, who was the center of Vali’s world. She was endlessly proud of him, and her love for him was fierce, selfless, and boundless.
In 1991, Vali made the brave and heartbreaking decision to leave her homeland of Romania in pursuit of a better future for her family. Arriving in the United States with limited resources and without knowing the language, she faced uncertainty with courage. Through hard work, determination, and faith, she learned a new language, adapted to a new culture, and built a life rooted in dignity and perseverance. She never complained about the sacrifices she made; instead, she carried them with grace, always putting her family first.
Vali was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ion and Ioana Martac; her husband, Ion Polizache; her sister-in-law, Sanda Pana; and her brothers-in-law, Costel Tanase, Anghel Sirbu, and Nicu Florescu.
She is survived by her devoted son, Marius Polizache, and daughter-in-law, Shellie Polizache; her dear siblings, Nelu (Ica) Martac, Nicoleta Tanase, Maria Florescu, and Viorica Sirbu; her brother-in-law, Eduard Pana; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Each held a special place in her heart, and she carried cherished memories with every one of them.
Vali will be remembered for her strength, her quiet sacrifices, her deep faith, and the way she loved without limits. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the values she instilled, and the countless lives she touched. Though she is no longer by our side, her love remains a guiding light that will never fade.
