Of Vandercook, passed away September 22, 2013, age 86. Survived by six children, James R. (Cyndie), Jan M. Allen, Timothy J. (Jennifer), Kenneth (Chris), Jeffrey (Sonya) and Barbara J. (David) Zemer; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Leutz and Mae Jean Zwick; special friends, Lee and Mary Kope and her dog, Jake. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard J.; two children, Danny L. and Brenda S. Hinton; her parents, Roscoe and Barbara Hartman; two brothers and one sister; one son-in-law, Billy and one daughter-in-law, Louise. She retired from Vandercook Lake High School and enjoyed her Friday morning breakfast with special friends at Bone Island Grille, and attended Loomis Park Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home Thursday September 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Burial Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice Home.
