Of Jackson, MI passed away with family by his side on July 20, 2017 at the age of 79. Woody was born November 27, 1937 in Boyne City, MI to parents Robert and Berta Tousley. He married Arlene Van Epps of Jackson on July 26, 1958. Woody retired from Die Cast Corp and was also a member of the National Guard. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and listening to classic country music. He loved spending time with his children and his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Woody is survived by his wife, Arlene; daughters, Tonia Long, Sonia (Rocco) Liogghio, Christine Pickering, and Stacy (Jason) Wables; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Albert (Bobby) Tousley and Joyce (Burl) Buckland; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill Crippen and Robert Tousley. A celebration of Woody’s life will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with visitation on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Woody will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
