Zoa Pearl Edwards

Of Jackson, died on Friday, September 17, 2021 at age 81 while doing what she loved - traveling. Affectionally known as “Nana” is survived by 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, as well as her brother Hank Dochstader. She is preceded in death by her husband John and her brother Danny. She was born to Russel and Marie Dochstader June 11, 1940 in Jackson, MI. and is a graduate of Jackson, High School. Zoa worked hard as a homemaker, in many varied jobs, and finally as a restaurant owner with her husband John. She enjoyed Broadway shows, traveling, her church and her family. A celebration of Life service will be held at JaxNaz church (3905 Clinton Rd, Jackson MI 49201) on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Garden West, (34224 Ford Road, Westland, MI 48185) on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in her honor may be made to Cadence International - The Homestead Land Improvement Project. https://cadence.org/project/homestead-land-improvement/
