Barbara Joy Garrett, devoted wife to Charles Garrett, passed away on Saturday, November 7. 2015. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Gregoire; son, Mark Garrett (Sherrie); her beloved grandchildren, Erin and Miles Garrett; sister, Helen Frey; brothers-in-law, Bill Allyn and Bill Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Margaret Frey; sisters, Peggy Williams and Dolores Allyn. Barbara will be remembered for her caring and beautiful person, spreading Gods love by her example to others. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and was the past president of the Council of Catholic Women.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Fr. Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main St. Atlantic Beach. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home.
