She was married to Robert L. Carter on Feb. 16, 1961. Betty worked as a Real Estate Broker for Atlantic Builders and Coppenbarger Homes. She was a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association Sales and Marketing Council and had a passion for flowers and plants.
Betty Carter is survived by her children, Russell Carter, Anita Millar and Carolyn Moldovanyi; grandchildren, Amanda Blakeslee, Alina Niedzwiecki, Lacey Wilkerson and MacKenzie Carter; and brother, Dee Taylor, Jr.
Graveside services for Betty will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Lee Kirkland Cemetery, Jacksonville Beach, FL.
