My condolences to the family. 

Kara I am just a phone call away honey.

Grandma taught me many things during summer visits to her house. She tried to teach me to knit (rather unsuccessfully!) and to sew (again, that had its limitations!). She taught me the thrill of waking up at 4:30 on the morning to go to the gym to go swimming, and the importance of buying a good bathing suit (even the green sparkle one she bought me that turned translucent when wet!?!) . She tried to teach me basics of bridge and how to properly file your nails. There were many summer afternoons she fell asleep while "Days of Our Lives" was on, but that was okay because, I watched diligently on her behalf and was able to tell her when she woke up which twin tried to murder the eccentric millionaire. She taught me that Kleenex was the best and only brand of tissue you should ever buy (and it was the only one she did buy), and blue cheese should be sprinkled on all salads consumed at dinner. 

During my adult years grandma took more of a different role in my life. She gave up trying to teach me domesticated skills, and instead she and I had wonderful conversations where I found out about her life. She listened to me and she was able to help me with my problems in life. She was able to rejoice and see my babies grow from infants to the children they are today. 

She was  my friend, my confidant, and my grandmother. I love her and I will miss her dearly.

Our condolences and prayers to the family. Kitty was a beautiful lady both inside and out.  The pictures were wonderful to look at and reafirms to us what a sweetheart of a wife,mother, grandmother and friend she was.  
    We miss both Ed and Kitty since they moved to Florida.

Beautiful pictures that captured only a small part of a beautiful woman's life.   Kitty was my mother-in-law, friend, confidant.  She was the best mother any daughter-in-law could ask for. Most of all, she was a wonderful human being who touched our lives and leaves a legacy of strength and confidence.  We were blessed to have her in our lives.  I love you and will miss you, Kitty.

Sympathy to all the family.  The pictures were wonderful and showed what a great life she lived. She was a beautiful bride and a proud Army wife. We will miss her visits to Lynn.

Grandma was such a wonderful person who I miss terribly.  She was there for my smiles as well as my tears.  

Growing up, we spent many summers in Virgina, at her house. During the mornings she always watched "Live with Regis and Kathy Lee". At dinner she would sneak a piece of salad before we would say grace.  We would go water skiing.  She was always so graceful on the skis.

When I was older and got into my first car accident, she was the first person I called.  And she stayed on the phone with me until she thought that I was calm, even though I had called her collect. 

During college and afterwards, she was my confidant.  My fears, concerns, and accomplishments, she was always there to share. 

Grandma, I love you so much!
