David L. Favreau, of Daytona Beach, passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 68. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on July 30, 1952. The son of the late Lawrence and Charlotte Clark Favreau. He was the loving husband to Edie Favreau for 34 years.
Dave is survived by his wife; son, Ryan (Hope) Favreau, of Daytona Beach; a grandson, Mason, who was so precious to him; sister, Donna (Milt) Neiderhaus in California; brother, Floyd (Pat Ash) Favreau in Massachusetts; and is further survived by many nephews and nieces whom he loved very much.
Dave moved from Massachusetts to Daytona Beach in January, 1991. He had a career in many industries over the years. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit and drive for success: from sales with Pepsi Co. to his own beef jerky route and everything in between. He was most noted for his success operating a premier swimming pool renovation company named Fiberglass Plus in Port Orange for over 25 years.
Dave had a passion for family, sports (Red Sox and Patriots) and business. He enjoyed teaching his son about the importance of hard work and dedication. Dave had a great sense of humor and a compassionate heart. Friends were easily made and many turned into lifelong friendships.
First and foremost, Dave was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Everywhere Dave went he made an impact on the people’s lives around him. Dave will be dearly missed by many but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
