Gary “Gator” Washburn, 48, of Jacksonville Beach, FL passed away December 30, 2013. Gary was born at Andrews Air Force Base on June 17, 1965 and attended Sandalwood High School. Gary was in construction for over 25 years. Gary’s passions include fishing with his son, his Harley motorcycle, weight lifting and his dogs. Gary was compassionate, had a big heart and was always willing to help the underdog.
Survivors include his son, Aidan Washburn; parents, Sue & Larry Washburn; siblings, Darrin Washburn (Tina) and Christy Trawick (Troy); and nieces and nephew, McKenzy & Anzley Trawick and Landon Washburn; and Aidan’s mother, Holly.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Saturday, Jan 4th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
