Gloria Ferragamo Simcox, 83, passed away November 25, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL. Gloria was born June 4, 1927 in Revere, MA. She moved to Florida in 1984. She loved taking care of her family and adored her grandchildren. No one left the home without having a full belly. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl Simcox; her children, Robert Simcox, William Simcox, Carl Simcox, Jr. and Debra Peterson; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bonnie Torra and Marina Regan; and many other friends and relatives. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1 from 6 – 8 pm at Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, December 2 at 2 pm at Chapel Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hills Cemetery. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Beaches Chapel.
