

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Ralph Hatch, who peacefully departed this world on June 03, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Dallas, Texas, to Homer and Edith Hatch on January 19,1939, Ralph was a devoted husband to his wife Ruby Hatch and son Dwayne Hatch who preceded him in death and a loving father to his children, Donna Lunde, Debi Covert and Douglas Hatch He was an adoring and loving Grandfather to Brayden Hatch. He is cherished by his son in law’s Dobber Covert and Dan Lunde. He was a compassionate loving man who loved people and was always thinking of others. He was always there for his family and friends, with a helping hand and a supportive heart, and an infectious laugh!
Ralph worked for many years at Coke Cola Bottling companies as a General Manager where he was successfully acknowledged as a top leader in the company who embraced his employees, making everyone feel special. He was known for his devotion to his family, a great and caring friend with a sense of humor, or his strong work ethic. He found great joy in doing things for his children, taking his Grandson Brayden places and spending time with those he loved. His interests included fishing, traveling and golf, in his younger years. He always looked forward to Sunday dinners where he cooked his favorite as well as new recipes for his family.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by his children Donna, Debi, Dwayne, Doug and his grandson Brayden. It is the families wish that everyone completes an act of kindness in his name. He is survived by his sister Nancy Lewis and his nephew’s Michael Sims, Gregg, Sims, Harold Lewis and niece Sharon Sims. He is preceded in death by his loving sister Patricia Sims.
Ralph will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, his wisdom, and his strength.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on June 20, 2025, at Beach Chapel- Hardage-Giddens with a memorial service at 1:00pm at 1701 Beaches Blvd, Jacksonville Florida 32250. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude, Kidney foundation or American Cancer Society in his memory.
Ralph will always be with us as his caring compassionate heart lives within everyone he came in contact. It is with much love and gratitude that we celebrate his life. His memory will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
