James E. Lewis, Jr., 86, passed away December 10, 2012 at home following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, he was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Pharmacia. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Norma; children, Cindy, Cris, Shannon, Becky, Tom and Jimmy and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27th in the chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, Florida. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
