Joy was born on February 5th, 1972 in Jacksonville FL. She was married to Kenneth Randall Hagood, her devoted husband and partner of 27 years. Together they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and family.
Joy had a deep passion for cake decorating and baking, finding joy in creating beautiful and meaningful treats for others. She also loved spending time in the sun. Whether she was camping, hanging out by the pool, or especially relaxing by the beach. Her warmth, creativity, gentle and kind spirit were felt by all who knew her.
She dedicated her career to the baking and food industry, working with Food Lion, Winn-Dixie, Publix, and Panera Bread, where her talent and work ethic were greatly valued.
Joy is survived by her sisters Julie (Randy) Reichle, Cathy (Troy) Myers, Carolyn (Chris) Sivley
; her nieces Brittany, Amanda, and Jessica; her nephews Justin, Michael, and Brett Myers along with many extended family members who loved her dearly.
Joy will be remembered for her kind heart, creative soul, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15th, 2026 at 3pm at Ribault Garden Club, 702 2nd Ave North, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
