Leonard John Silvester went to be with the Lord on August 8th, 2013. He was born on April 27th 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA. Joining the U.S. Navy in 1951, Leonard settled in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and retired as a Vietnam Veteran in 1974. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ann Morinello Silvester; Daughters , Diane Silvester John and Maryann Silvester Puskas (Steven I. Puskas) Grandsons Michael Leonard John, Steven Leonard Puskas and Christopher William Puskas, and one Great Granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth John.
A Service will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach on Monday, August 19th at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Parkinsons.org/donate.
