Lois J. King, 93, passed away peacefully May 6, 2013 in Brooksville, FL. She was born February 20, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a resident of Jacksonville Beach for over 50 years and a longtime member of the Beaches United Methodist Church. Lois was very dedicated to her family and took pride in recognizing their special occasions. She was a very humble and dignified woman.
She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, “Butch”. Lois is survived by her son, James and his wife Jeanie, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach, FL. Her graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 10, 2013 at H. Warren Smith Cemetery, Jacksonville Beach, FL.
