Marion Jane Eaton, 89, died in her home Tuesday December 8th, 2015 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Marion was the 6th child and daughter of the late Carl Ronning and Isabel Greenhoe. She was a native of Superior W. I. and born in Duluth, M. N. She was a former seamstress, tailor and mother of 5 children. She was well known for her cooking, socializing, and witnessing for Christ. Marion married William Henry Eaton in 1951. They retired to Hendersonville, NC in 1985; where she was a member of the Fletcher Seventh Day Adventist Church. In 2011 her granddaughter Danielle Johnson moved her to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and easy living.
Survivors include: two sons, Maynard Peterson (MN), Marshall Peterson (M N) and one daughter Rebecca Eaton (NC), 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two of her children, Mardell Love (NC) and Dale Peterson (MN)
A memorial service will be held in Duluth, M.N. in the summer of 2016 in her birthplace and where her family resides.
