My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Crowley/Meagher family at this most difficult time but especially to Jamie, Donyal and my five grandsons.
Not only was she your mom, mother-in-law, granmo, she was a friend to many including myself.  I will miss her sharp wit and sense of humor.  I enjoyed spending time with her.

I had the privilege of knowing Penny and her brother Bob in high school. The Bishop Kenny guys living at the beach called her the "Beach Beauty". Heaven is an even more beautiful place now that Penny has arrived. My prayers and condolences to her family.

I will always remember the Penny I knew from family gatherings when we were children and my visit to Neptune Beach in the summer of 1962. She seemed to enjoy everything about life but particularly the sun and sand which drew her back to Florida. She had the world's best tan whenever I saw her. I will always think of her when I see a pogo stick and remember her misadventures with one in our basement. To all the members of the Crowley/Meagher family my wife Mary Anne and I would like to offer our most sincere and loving condolences.

Penny, Penny - I met Penny when I came to Bishop Kenny in my Jr. year. I like her immediately. She had a zillion friend but at the same time she was so independent of all the crazy high school stuff that took place. It must have been due to all of those brothers. I think of Penny and I think of Jax Beach and how jealous I was of her that she lived down there all the time. I am glad that I got to see her at our 45th? reunion. She was the same Penny but lonesome for her husband Jim. God Bless Penny's children and hope they are at peace that their Mom & Dad are together again with God.

Anybody that knows Penny and the entire Crowley family, knows that there isn't just one memory to reflect upon, there are several. And so, I just want to say to the children of both Penny & Jim Crowley...Thank you for sharing your parents with so many. They are together again!

Our dear friend Penny was the best hockey mom around.  We are unable to count all the hockey rinks in the midwest that we traveled to together through the years. Our friendship bonded over our sons love of the sport. Whether piled in Jim's/her x-large van or taking Penny and Pat on the road in our mini-van, it was always an adventure and tons of fun.  

There is never a time when we order bacon in a restaurant that we don't think of her -- because she was so particular about how hers was prepared -- well-done, crispy, but not burnt.  And suntans?  We never knew anyone who had browner skin and who sun-worshipped more than dear Penny. And the Florida coast beaches?  Penny was their #1 sunbather.

Talk about a big heart?  Penny and Jim opened their hearts and home to 6 beautiful children and provided a wonderful life for them.  

We can still recall all the bags of groceries she'd unload after a trip to the market.  And no one had more laundry piled up to be done than the Crowley household.  Cooking?  Her kitchen may as well have been a restaurant with so many mouths to feed.

Penny will be missed by many, especially us.  We long for the days she lived in Oconomowoc and added spark to our lives.  It hasn't been the same since she moved to her beloved Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. 

To her wonderful family: we express our heartfelt sympathies over your loss.  We wish we could attend her memorial service because it would be so very meaningful for us, but the distance and circumstances make that impossible.
