Juanita (Nita) Armstrong Hennig, 80, of Jacksonville Beach, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born in Millington, Tennessee on March 20, 1943 to the late Cecil and Irene Armstrong.
Nita worked as an accounting officer for PCS Nitrogen in Memphis, Tennessee, and retired to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Nita had a great love for dogs, was fun-loving and really liked to go out dancing. She was a good friend to many in her community, always taking care of others. She was dearly loved by many friends and family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by one son, Curtis (Nora) Hennig; two grandchildren, Allison (Devin) Frutchey and Kyle Hennig; two great-grandchildren, Ryker and Rhaella Frutchey; two sisters, Cat Reed and Tiny Travis; and one brother, Jake Armstrong.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Irene Armstrong; three sisters, Louise Armstrong, Ann Armstrong Miller, and Lucille Moskovitz; and three brothers, Lawrence, Edward, and Bobby Armstrong.
