Born Paula Eileen Bohannon on May 5, 1948 and after a long battle with COPD and Parkinson’s disease, passed away on February 15, 2022.
She grew up in Jacksonville, attended Annie Beaman Elementary School, Kirby Smith Middle School and both Ribault and Andrew Jackson High Schools. She retired from the banking industry with Community First Credit Union.
Paula was preceded in death by her love, Chuck Harley; her son, James Perryman; Stepchildren, Rose Schwingle and Charles Schwingle. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Michael and Donald Bohannon along with her mother and father, Shirley Trent and Elwood Bohannon.
Paula is survived by her son, Randal Perryman and her daughter, Terri Neal (Perryman). She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Bohannon (Mary) along with several grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Paula had a beautiful smile, a wonderful sense of humor, but was well known by her friends and family for her cooking. We will miss her dearly.
The receiving of Family and Friends will be from 1pm-2pm on Saturday March 12th at the Funeral Home
A Celebration of Life Service for Paula will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
