I was in my teens when Phil came into our family. And for the next fifty years he was my Uncle. I spoke with him three days before he passed and I will be forever grateful

Phil came to Scotland in the mid 1960 ‘s with USN. and married Rita, my aunt.
He was loved by everyone in our family , a more kind, caring human being you could not meet , a true gentleman.
His Scottish family will never forget him.
Let’s hope there’s a ‘bookies’ in heaven.

My memory of Phil is that he is quiet, social, nonjudgemental, thoughtful, helpful, caring , great grill chef and wonderful husband to Barbara.
Whenever I metup with Phil outside he had his baby " Baxter " , who unfortunately has passed on also, with him, we talked alot about our babies and things happening arount the community. When he was grilling we talked about food and grilling. I would always ask what he was cooking . Phil would always offer some . Phil is in good hands but we certainly will miss him.

My memory of Phil is that he is an all around great guy and friend. We enjoyed watching a super bowl together with Phil and Barbara. Everytime we met up outside we just talked about things in general. Phil talked alot about playing poker which was one of his favorite things to do. A few months ago when I needed help he was right there for me. Phil is that type of guy always helping others. I wish I had met him sooner and that I could have known him longer.
