

Vicky was an incredible woman who lived her life in service to others, holding a special care for the underdog and the lost. Larger than life, she laughed with abandon, sang at the top of her lungs, and lived fully in the moment; regardless of what that moment brought. Vicky’s life was marked by generosity, fierce passion and loyalty, and a stubborn refusal to give up on anyone or anything.
The daughter of Charlene P. Dresser and Larry Eugene Martin, Vicky was born on December 21, 1956, in Millington, TN. The oldest of four children, she is survived by her mother, Charlene; her three siblings: Julie; Larry Joe; and Danny; along with their respective families. Vicky is Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Niece to families from Missouri, Tennessee and, Florida.
The matriarch of her North Florida family, Vicky is the mother of three children, James, Misty and, Patrick, and married to Robert D. McNulty. Having lost son, Patrick in 2020 – a tragedy she never quite recovered from – Vicky is survived by husband, Robert; her son, James (Shawna); her daughter, Misty (Jack Donovan); and grandchildren Emma, Baylee, Lily, Tucker and Shayla.
Vicky‘s greatest passion was relating stories of family and family gatherings. She also enjoyed the scripture, attending church, watching baseball games, traveling, rowdy parties, quiet nights at home, and early morning coffee.
A graduate of Florida College of Medical and Dental Assistants in Jacksonville, FL, June 1981, Vicky spent a lifetime caring for others. Her entire professional career was spent in the medical field working in a variety of roles from teaching in medical colleges to lab technician and billing and coding specialist.
A graveside service will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville FL 32218 on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 12:30 pm. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
