Vivian Crosby Lewis

Vivian Crosby Lewis was born on December 8, 1924 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to Clifton and Cora Crosby and went peacefully to her heavenly home on December 20, 2014 at the age of 90. She was the faithful wife of B.K. Lewis, Jr., who preceded her in death on June 29, 2014 after 67 years of marriage. Before beginning her true calling as a devoted mom, she had a short career as a telephone operator with Southern Bell. Vivian was a long-time member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church.

Her sacrificial love will be greatly missed by all of her family, including her children, Mike and Debbie Lewis, Donnie and Judy Jarrett, Barry and Peggy Lewis and Kyle and Melissa Stevens. Vivian leaves a living legacy of 9 granddaughters and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 at 10 am with a funeral service at 11 am at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Burial will follow immediately after to Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Beaches Chapel (904)249-2374. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to our preferred non-profit charity, Kaleb Kares.
