William & Lynda Omohundro

Lynda D. Omohundro, 87, of Fleet Landing, passed away on July 1, 2022. She was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on July 4, 1933. Lynda graduated with a B.A from Cornell University; MS from U. Bridgeport; and a Phd. from Syracuse. She married William A. Omohundro, Sr. on July 27, 1953. Lynda D. Omohundro had a career in Advertising, Bus. Mgmt., was an Author & Entrepreneur Warnco; D.D. Assoc.; Chicago Tribune; Carthage Comm. Press, Inc.; Prof Syracuse University. She was a member of Who’s Who of American Women, 15th Ed. 1986-87; NY Adv Club; Mem. Fashion Group; Women in Radio & TV and had a passion for reading, writing and family. She is survived by her three sons: William Addison, Jr.; Jeffrey Floyd; Robert Lloyd and ten grandchildren: William Addison (Addy), Emma Wry, Jeffrey Samuel, Grace Williams, John William, Sophia Theresa, Jack Harris, Kevin Stuart, Isabella Danielle and Robert Collin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250.

A Graveside service will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 at 9:30am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218. Lane # 2
