Willie Dorough Arnett

He was preceeded in death by his wife Katie Mae Reddish and his second wife Louise Yawn, his son Willie Thomas Arnett, his brothers John, Lawton and Don Arnett. One granddaughter Michelle Yawn.

Willie and Louise moved to Atlantic Beach in the 60's , he was a very well know business man and owned Willie’s Texaco in Atlantic Beach, Fl. He was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Moroccan Temple, and also a member for the America Legion post 216.

He is survived by one son, David Demetrius Arnett, daughter - in-law Elaine Arnett and a step son Jimmy Yawn and his wife Sandra Yawn. He had 10 grandchildren: David Arnett, Jason Arnett, George Arnett, Suzanne Arnett, Christoper Arnett, Joseph Arnett, Michael Yawn, Kim Davis and Tammi Payton. He also had 2 great-great grandchildren Jamon Arnett, Dekato Arnett. Also by a loving and caring friend Charlotte Hunter "CK" and a god grandchild Nicholas Randall Hunter.

He was a proud man and a true friend.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 26th from 6 to 8 PM at the Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens with the Funeral services Saturday, June 27th at 10AM. Interment to follow in Cordele, Ga at 4:00 at Dorough Cemetery on Mid Way Church Rd.

Donations can be made to the Community Hospice in lieu of flowers.
