Yvonne L. Frank

Yvonne Letson Frank passed away on March 18, 2017 after a 3 year battle with lung cancer. Yvonne is survived by her husband Joseph Frank, 2 daughters, Lisa G. Frank and Gina C. Frank, 3 grandsons, Jeremy, Richard, and Christopher Tarkington, A brother Dr. L.E. Letson and his wife Peggy Letson, and a sister Vivian Curb who reside in Alabama.

She was predeceased by her sister Viola Bellomy, and her grandson Alexander Glass.

Yvonne and Joe have lived in the Jacksonville Beach area for 23 years. During those 23 years she held several positions, she was an accountant for the Medical Society, and aide in the Duval County school system and extended day program. She was a girl scout leader and a life long member of the Church of Christ.

Yvonne was born in Scottsboro, Alabama where she attended Jackson County High School. She was a majorette in 52’, 53’, a staff member of the reminder club 54’, homecoming queen attendant 53’ Glee Club in 52’, and served on the wildcat school paper in 52’. Yvonne was always on her best behavior because her mother worked in the cafeteria. After graduation Yvonne was off to the big city of Chattanooga, TN to make her mark on the world, there she met her husband of 62 years.

She was first and foremost a Christian – woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend as she shared life with all those she knew and loved. Yvonne has now gone to be with the Lord, and reunited with many loved ones. She will be missed every minute of every day, but we know we will see her again.

There will be a Memorial service on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The service will be held at The Jacksonville Beach Church of Christ, 422 5th Avenue N., Jacksonville Beach, Florida. If your life has been touched by Yvonne’s we would welcome your attendance.
