

Albert Theodore (Ted) Hatch, 77, passed away December 12, surrounded by his family & loved ones. Ted joined the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War where he served as a Radar Operator in Alaska. He met the Love of his life Letsey Lee Anderson, while stationed at Dobbins Air Force Base Marietta, GA. In 1956. Upon an honorable discharge from the Air Force he joined the U. S. Army where he served the remainder of his Military Career until retiring in 1972 from the Army. Mr. Hatch had many interesting assignments during his Army service. He was a translator for the Army at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 25th infantry division, where he received two Purple Hearts, the Silver Star and Bronze Star. Upon Retiring from the Army as a Jumpmaster at Ft. Benning Georgia he went to college while working Full time at the Medical Center in Columbus, Ga. Upon graduation he was a Respiratory Therapist who formed his own Health Care Company for 25 years. Ted enjoyed restoring old cars, especially Mustangs and enjoyed taking cruises with his wonderful wife. Mr. Hatch is Preceded in death by his Parents George & Frances Hatch, and his loving wife of 53 years Letsey Lee Hatch. He is survived by four Children, Daughter: Tammy St. John of Jacksonville, FL, Sons: Ted & Brian both of Jacksonville, FL, & Son: Mark of Columbus, GA. Six Grandchildren: Richard & Ryan St. John of Jacksonville, FL, Kristen & Eric Hatch of Jacksonville, FL and Mark Jr. & Robert of Columbus, GA. Our Deepest Regards to John, Teresa & Lauren Lindsey for their dedication & love to our family . Visitation will be this evening from 6-8 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 2:00
PM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
