

Born February 12, 1927 in Lyons, GA. She proudly served her country during WWII by working at Jacksonville Shipyards as “Rosie the Riveter”. Mrs. Warren was a long time member and supporter of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Harvest Ministries. She was secretary of her husband’s business, Ideal Lawn Service, which allowed her to remain home to care for her four children. After retirement she and her husband traveled to every state in the United States. Many times including grandchildren on their journeys. They all enjoyed these trips very much and were left with many precious and priceless memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William B. Warren, her son David, daughter Phyllis, and son-in-law Rick Gad.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Wyman) Davis of Glen St. Mary, FL; Wanda Gad of Jacksonville, FL; Darlene (Trent) Collins of Palatka, FL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, Niece Gladine Warren, Brother and Sister-in-law Kenneth (Sharon) Warren, as well as many other extended family members.
Visitation for Mrs. Warren will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. At Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Glenn
Hand Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
