Alvin Eugene Horsley, 65 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away July 11, 2010. Born December 3, 1944 in Jasper, Alabama the son of the late Floyd and Esta Mae (McCullar) Horsley. Alvin served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Hyde Park Masonic Lodge No. 370, an honorary member of Barnett Lodge No. 187, as well as the Morocco Shrine Temple. He was a Letter Handler with the United States Postal service for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Eluvey; sons, Troy Horsley and Todd Horsley all of Jacksonville, and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation with Masonic Rites will be held Thursday July 15, 2010 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 10:00, Friday, July 16, 2010 at the funeral home.
