Anita Cox Slack, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior September 7, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Anita was born February 3, 1934 in Eustis, Florida to Norton F. and Mary I. (Shelton) Goodson. She was preceded in death by one son Larry W. Cox and one daughter Terrie M. Cox. She was raised Southern Baptist, enjoyed singing, and spending many hours with her family. Anita will be missed dearly by her two sons Ronny R. Cox Sr. (Janice) and Douglas F. Cox Sr. (Donna);two daughters Janice M. Jacobs and Edgar Jacobs and Connie L. Begue (Roy); two sisters Barbara Cherry and Betty Sue Boland; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
