

He served in the US Navy Aviation Electronics ATCS for 22 years and with Civil Service doing the same job for 20 years. He married Ruby Luverne Poole on February 11, 1972. He went on to get an Associate in Arts Degree at the State University of New York in 1982 and a Bachelor of Science Occupational Education at Southern Illinois University in 1983. He also worked a few part-time jobs, his last being a courtesy van driver for the former Ernie Palmer Toyota.
Wayne was an avid Florida Gators Booster, ticket holder for Jax Jaguars from the beginning and about 9 years ago became an active member of High Point Community Christian Church. Previously he had been a member, for 34 years, of Wesconnett UMC where he held many positions. Wayne was known for varied collections of ties and his wonderful smile.
He is survived by wife Ruby L. Seibold; daughter Kathy Rambo and son-in-law Bill; son John A. Seibold and daughter-in-law Michelle; sister Helen McAllister and brother-in-law Jim; grandson Mark Berkebile; granddaughter Melea Rambo and grandson Asher Seibold.
Preceded in death by his parents John and Ora Seibold; sister and brother-in-law Laverne and Raymond Tennill; daughter Jeanette Berkebile; and granddaughters Megan and Ashlea Rambo.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM, Highpoint Christian Community Church, 84 Knight Boxx Rd. Orange Park, Florida 32065.
