Born on June 2, 1943, in Daphne, Alabama, Barbara’s life was marked by resilience, generosity, and service to others. She was a proud alumna of Tuskegee University, where she began a lifelong journey of learning and leadership. Barbara retired from successful careers at BellSouth Corporation and H&R Block, where she was known for her professionalism, kindness, and strong work ethic.
Beyond her career, Barbara was a dedicated community volunteer who believed deeply in giving back. Her commitment to her neighbors and community left a lasting impact on many lives.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Barry Lawson; her devoted son, Pierre Robinson; her cherished granddaughter, Jade Robinson; her beloved sister, Luthel Ervin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
