Barbara Ann Lashley passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2016 at the age of 77. Barbara is survived by her mother Geraldine Anderson, daughter Sharon Covart (Steve), her grandchildren Bradley Gordon, Anna Covart, Rachel Covart, her great-grandson Jacob Gordon and sister Frances Boatright. She is predeceased by her father Estes Anderson, daughter Lisa Gordon-Daniel and son David Lashley. She owned and operated Ms. Barbara’s Family Daycare in her home for almost 50 years and was known loved by so many families in Jacksonville. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She was a Christian woman, pianist and treasure to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd on August 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 and the funeral service will be August 12th at 11:00. Interment will be with Riverside Memorial Park.
