Its been a little over a year now and I have had to face life with out the visible you. I know that you with me everyday. Marsha, I don't know if you remember me.  Barry and I grew up together and I still remember the bologna and mayo his mother made for us when we jumped the fence at Garrison JH.
I ran Barry' s name on Google hoping to locate him.  I was shocked to hear that he had passed.  I still remember the many good times we had and I still remember you riding on the back of his motorcycle.  Although I had not seen Barry in many years I thought of him and the many good times we had together often.  I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Barry, I think about you every day, and having read all of the tributes on this page, I understand the impact you had, not just on your family, but on everyone who knew you. You were one of a kind, brave, funny, a perfect combination of Mom and Dad. You were the "tough guy gangster" like Dad, but you displayed the heart of gold and kindness towards others like Mom. I miss you coming here in the summer to have crabs with us and asking me to show you my bicep muscles. You will never be forgotten and someday, our whole family will be together again.

Barry I have so many happy memories of you my first motorcycle ride, the wrestling shows that you always said were not fake, you calling for Hector or Mar & your smiling face always happy to see me & Tarryn. Dear Barry, What can I say to someone who showed such strength during the most difficult time in your life! But,knowing you,I wouldn't expect any less. I considered you and Marsha my dearest friends. Although we haven't seen each other in years....when,out of the blue,you would call ....I would hear " HEY,is this Brenda Green Rockwood? " We would start laughing and I would say " you forgot Williams "
I will miss hearing those words!
Barry loved his family more than life itself....he wasn't perfect....but he was perfect for Marsha. Not too many people can say that they were married to their soul mate,but rest assured Barry and Marsha can say that!
We had so much fun together.....I could go on and on.....I just wish there was a phone in Heaven so I could call Barry and say " HOW BOUT DEM O'S.....!" I love you and will see you again, on the other side.....<3

I've been holding off posting anything here as it makes it to real to think that you are actually gone. I walk in your house every afternoon and expect to hear you calling "Moose" as I walk in the door. Every time I left for work you would always tell me the same thing "Make lots of money" even if we knew it wasn't going to happen that day or not. I will never forget that in the final few days you still gave me a look or made that face that only you and I knew what it meant.
 It is only now am I able to convince myself this did happen, that you are not here but yet you are in a better place. Dad you will always be here with us, in one way or another you are here. In our thoughts and always in our hearts. I miss you so much.

I still am having trouble accepting that I won't hear my brother teasing me again. You used to ask me how I could stand living in this frozen wasteland, even though you lived here for many years. You also told me how awful my Orioles were and for many years, you were right. I know we will meet again, Barry, but wanted to let you know that this year, The Orioles are 1.5 games behind your beloved Yankees! Marsha..praying for comfort for you and yours..yes..Barry would tell anyone in a heartbeat that he has a beautiful wife and best friend. He was a caring person and a real gentleman. he is still watching over you..just close your eyes..you will feel him there with you.

Today it has been two weeks since you joined your parents, and all our friends and family that passed before you and of course our pets, my beloved husband and best friend. I still long to hear you tell me how much you love me everyday and how beautiful you thought I was, every morning when I left for work, I never tired of hearing that. I miss you so much and feel so empty with out you, but I have all the wonderful memories we shared to give me some peace and I see your face when I remember your last words to me and even though they make me cry, I am at peace that you knew that we would see each other again and spend forever together. I love you

Barry always took care of his sisters when we were growing up. He killed bugs for me and fixed the chain on my bike more then once. We lived in an old house (the one we were in when he and Marsha started dating) and often had bats in the attic. One day there was a bat in our bedroom and Susan and I were afraid to go in. Barry took care of it without a second thought. He was very brave back then, and he was brave until his last day on Earth. I know he is resting comfortably now and might put together a softball team in Heaven. Love you always, Barry, miss you so much, but I treasure our childhod days.

Honey, for 46 years years you were not only my husband but my best friend. Not every day was a perfect day and we certainly had good times and bad times but together we made it through. God blessed us with our three beautiful sons, wonderful daughters in laws, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and of course our pets. I think one of my favorite memories about my Uncle Barry is that every time he would be in Baltimore, at Nan's house, they would have an epic trash-talk session on each other's teams -- his beloved Yankees and Nan's beloved Orioles. He would give her such a hard time (all in good fun of course) and get her all riled up. She would try to laugh it off, but you could always see a little bit of steam coming out of her ears! 

He was a great uncle and I will miss him very much. I'm sorry that Dan never got the chance to meet him...I think they would have had a great time talking sports and laughing. We all have another guardian angel watching over us now. And I think he has the best seats in the house for all the Yankees and Jaguars games :) Love you, Uncle Barry.

Grandpa I love and miss you so very much and know we weren't the closest but ill always remember the weekends staying the night you'd have me toss the football around in the house with you even though grandma said not to, or tossing the baseball out side, if it wasn't for you don't know if i ever would have learned to play ball, or the old school horror movies you loved to watch with me. I wish I could have seen you more before god had to take you but I know ill see you again, only regret is my boys never got to meet you but they will know how great you were always fighting even to the end.
