He was born April 9, 1928 in Ailey, GA to Benjamin and Edie Jordan.
Ben served his country in the United States Navy and retired as a ADJC after 23 years of service.
Ben was a member of Wesconnett Masonic Lodge #297, F&AM for 40 years and was a Past Master.
He also belonged to Wesconnett Eastern Star #247 of which he was a Past Patron.
Ben is survived by his wife of 57 years Lila, two brothers Curtis Jordan, James (Dean) Jordan as well as extended family.
A visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 1-2pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services to begin at 2pm with interment at Riverside Memorial Park. Masonic services will be held at graveside. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
