Bernadette Lea Ripley

Bernadette Lea Ripley (Erickson) "Bonnie" and "Nonnie", age 69, resident of Jacksonville, Florida, native of West Bend, Wisconsin, by way of Tucson, Arizona. She entered peacefully into our Lord and Saviors open arms, 6 October 2017, holding her only great grandson with family gathered. She was preceded in death by one daughter, "Baby girl", one brother, Donald Erickson, her mother, Bernice Erickson, and her father, Clarence Erickson. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Robert Ripley, daughter, Robin Webb (James), Augusta, GA, Brandy James (Dave), Martinez, GA, Robert Ripley II (Dawn), Jacksonville, FL, Brad Ripley, Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, James Webb III, Javan Webb, Cynthia Combs, James Perry, Brooke Ripley, Garth Ripley, Hope Ripley, Rylea Ripley, one great grandson, Emory Ripley, Godson, Travis Erickson (Jun), brothers Wayne Erickson (Sandy), Leroy Erickson, Warren Erickson, sister Dorothy Schmidt (Richard) and a host of nieces and nephews and family members.

Bonnie was a member of Deerwood Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was also a loyal member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 305. Bonnie was affectionately known for her love of Elvis, her favorite color purple, sharing recipes, going to the NASCAR races, Hershey candy bars, decorating for the holidays and spending as much time with her family every chance she could. As a special tribute, her Godson and niece brought "Graceland to Bonnie" prior to her transition where she truly enjoyed her last moments. She will be forever be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens, Chapel Hills Funeral Home.
