Betty M. Shutterly, 81, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 after a long illness. She is survived by husband R. L (Bud) Shutterly, children Jake (Sarah) Jacobs, Edgar Jacobs, Jimmy (Shelia) Jacobs, Jeff Jacobs, Debbie (Phil) DeSipio, Richard (Valerie) Shutterly, Kenneth Shutterly, Scott Shutterly, Karl (Linda) Shutterly and Brendy Shutterly (Pete). She is also survived by one sister Doris Martin, nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her parents and two brothers. Betty retired from the State of Florida. She loved playing the piano and singing in the church choir. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Hardage Giddens Town and County Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 (904) 781-9262.
