Bill Fleming

William H. “Bill” Fleming, 74 of Jacksonville, FL passed away on January 2, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 29, 1946. Bill graduated from N.B. Forrest High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University. He was married on November 27, 1965 to Linda Fleming.

Bill served in the United States Air Force for 21 years and then worked as a civil servant for the United States Navy for 20 years. He was a member of Wesconnett Masonic Lodge and had a passion for being a good father and mentoring young men.

He is survived by Linda, his wife of 55 years; children William Fleming, Jr. (Tanya) and Paul Fleming (Katie); grandchildren Stella Fleming, Sophia Fleming, Matthew Fleming, Michael Fleming and Maxwell Fleming.

A Funeral Service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 at 9:30 a.m., January 29, 2021 with interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida (www.communityhospice.com), in memory of William H. Fleming.
