Billy Warren Sr.

Billy Warren Sr, 73 went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2013. Billy was loved and respected by many and all who knew him will miss him deeply. He loved to listen to Bluegrass, sing the gospel, garden, paint, fish and play with his dogs, Katie, Kotchi and Kippy. He earned his Associates from FCCJ, Jacksonville. Billy retired from Dixie Tank and Galvanizing in 1975. Billy is survived by his wife Joyce, his brother, John Warren, sister-in-laws Margaret and Patricia, his son Daniel Warren (Deborah), his daughters, Julie Pickett (Harry) and Janet Ellison (Mark) and step daughter Carol Bailey (Dennis) and step son John Chaney. Grandchildren: Tabitha Braswell (Billy), Jesse Pickett (Kristin), Jarrod Pickett (Paige), Jade Janney (Austin), Jacob Jackson (Kassy), Jody Jackson, April Warren, William Warren, Jeremy Warren, Kyle Warren, Aaron Bailey, Michelle Chaney, Adrienne Chaney (Amy) and Joey Chaney. 8 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Community Hospice organization. A special thanks to the loving caregivers that allowed Billy to remain at home as long as possible. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Myrtice Warren, his son Billy Warren Jr and three sisters: Gloria Henderson, Myrtle Thomas and Myrtice Williams and six brothers: Jimmy Warren, Wilford (Sam) Warren, Hoyt Warren, Cohen Warren, Fred Deaver (Smokey) and Aubrey Deaver.
