Blanche Marie Tessmer, age 92, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Blanche was born September 20, 1920 in Robertsdale , Alabama to John and Rachel (English) Ware. Betty enjoyed doing ceramics and spending endless hours with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Christ Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Tessmer in December of 2005 and her parents. Survivors include one daughter Gloria Robertson; two sisters Omilee Chavers and Ethel Jackson (Marvin); three grandchildren Richard Brockman Jr., Jennifer Brockman, and Matthew Robertson; two great-grandchildren Amber Marie Brockman and Alexander Stone Brockman. Family will receive friends and family on Thursday December 6, 2012 from 7:00- 9:00 pm at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 7, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL.
